Sarafina is a minor character from the universe of The Lion King, and Nala's mother.
Canon
Sarafina is well known in the fandom for having a grand total of one whole line in the original canon of the first film. She doesn't officially appear in the second.
She strongly resembles her daughter Nala.
Fandom
Popular fanon has her as Sarabi's best friend. She'll sometimes be given the nickname 'Fina, often by Scar and the fans themselves.
She or Sarabi will sometimes be headcanoned to have died during Scar's Reign in order to explain their absence from subsequent media - sometimes both, sometimes one or the other.
