Sapphic Dead Dove Week 2023 was an open multifandom challenge that called on fans to create fanworks of any kind (fanfic, fanart, fan vids, graphics, podfics, cosplays, etc.) featuring sapphic ship(s) that fell within the scope of Dead Dove content.
All forms of dead dove will be allowed, including but not limited to noncon/rape, heavy gore, incest, and underage
The Rules
- This is an open event. Any adult of any skill level is welcome to participate!
- This is an event for adults (18 years and up) only. When posting your works, please have some indication of your age somewhere on your profile. Work from ageless accounts and minors will not be accepted.
- This is an event for purely FICTIONAL works only. Absolutely no forms of RPF or "Real Person Fiction" will be tolerated.
- Along the same lines, no characters played by child actors will be allowed for this event.
- Outside of those guidelines, any fandoms are allowed, including original works!
- This event is for dead dove works centered around sapphic relationships only! No male characters should be involved in the main relationship in any way.
- Trans headcanons, nonbinary headcanons, genderbends and poly ships are all accepted.
- All forms of dead dove will be allowed, including but not limited to noncon/rape, heavy gore, incest, and underage. Just be sure to appropriately tag your content!
- Each day of the event has a vague theme participants should try to work with, as well as more specific subprompt suggestions that go along with said theme. These themes and subprompts can be found here.
- You are not restricted to working with only the subprompts and concepts provided. They are intended to provide anyone who wants it inspiration! Participants are also free to entirely skip any days they are uninterested in.
- All valid works that follow event rules will be retweeted on twitter! Use #ddsapphicweek in your post and mention @deaddovesapphic.

Themes & Subprompts
DAY 1: POSSESSION (Monday, April 3rd) Toxic, selfish attachments in which someone wants to control and own another being. Subprompts: yandere, obsession, jealousy, marking, branding, name carving, ownership, objectification, dehumanization, codependency, controlling partner, stockholm syndrom, lima syndrome, psychological abuse, toxic relationships, incest
DAY 2: VIOLATION (Tuesday, April 4th) Although most dead dove content features violating victims, this day really focuses on that feeling of being deeply disrespected and humiliated. Subprompts: stalking, groping, chikan, public rape, lying, cheating, triggering, ignoring safewords, breaking boundaries, non-consensual pregnancy, force feeding, forced roleplay
DAY 3: VULNERABILITY (Wednesday, April 5th) Vulnerable, easy victims stuck in the wrong frame of mind, unable to think straight or fight back. Subprompts: mindbreak, mind control, somnophilia, hypnosis, trauma, drugs, medication, alcohol, overdose, addiction, date rape
DAY 4: FORCE (Thursday, April 6th) Unrelenting, hard, but simple brutal force that holds nothing back. Subprompts: rape, gangrape, brutality, kidnapping, hostage situation, restraints, weaponplay, torture, physical abuse, unusual insertions, monsterfucking, size difference
DAY 5: COERCION (Friday, April 7th) Manipulating a victim for one’s own gain and benefit, using every ounce of dirt you have on them and every bit of power you have over them. Subprompts: power imbalance, bullying, blackmail, undernegotiated kink, emotional abuse, manipulation, humiliation, gaslighting, grooming, underage, lolicon, teacher/student, religious trauma
DAY 6: GORE (Saturday, April 8th) Bloody, sadistic and hardcore violence that tears a victim limb to limb — perhaps literally. Subprompts: blood, murder, snuff, sadomaschism, necrophilia, cannibalism, wound fucking, amputation, body modification, self harm, suicide, body horror, medical trauma
DAY 7: FREE DAY (Sunday, April 9th) For any prompts you may have missed out on in previous days, or anything that doesn’t quite fit the themes of the other days!
