salliejohns (aka SweetSallie or just Sallie) was an X-Files fic writer and beta reader. She won several awards including the IWTB Award for Best Beta Reader.
There were some "stories that she just can't handle, and those are the ones that are extremely angsty, has alot of torture or just too sad for her to read. She can handle mild angst as long as it has a very happy ending." This preference led to the X-Files fandom term Sallie safe.[1]
