SalemTrek was the first Star Trek convention held in the Oregon's state capitol. It was a one-day convention held on August 29, 1998 in Salem, Oregon.
It was chaired by Anthony Wynn and was held in the convention center of the Quality Inn, 3301 Market Street NE. Convention staffers included Paul Bennett, Camilla Sundholm, Scott Mills, and Dan Sundholm.
The special guest stars were Grace Lee Whitney, Lee Delano, and Mark Allen Shepherd.
Events included a costume contest, video presentations, dealer's room, a mini memorabilia auction, and Trek trivia.
The event attracted over 800 attendees.
