S&S Co-op was proposed in May 1987. Its purpose was to be a clearinghouse to help fans pool their Simon & Simon material (episodes, articles, photos, etc) for use by other fans.
One fan, Dar F, asked that fans send her a list of what they had and were able to "clone"/copy. She also asked fans to send her a list of what they would like to receive. She then would compile both lists and send them to all interested fans.
