Robert E. O. Speedwagon is a core ally in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 1: Phantom Blood and Part 2: Battle Tendency and referenced in other parts.
After the events of Part 1 he founds the Speedwagon foundation, to fund science and other academics, as well as the activities of the Joestar family. After the events of Part 2 he dies but his legacy lives on in the series (notably Parts 3-6) through the organization he founded.
