Richard Lipez (Lock Haven, Pennsylvania) was an openly gay[1] American journalist and mystery author.[2] He was best known for his Donald Strachey mysteries, which were originally published under the pen name Richard Stevenson. Before writing the DSM series, he collaborated together with Peter Stein on his first thriller entitled "Grand Scam" published in 1979. He passed away in March 2022 due to cancer. Two Stevenson's books to be published posthumously and your past works will be republished by ReQueered Tales.[3][4]
