TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN and REPLY by Carol Pierce deal with a letter written by Kirk and the consequences afterward. I found Spock's reaction to Kirk's 'confession' a bit extreme, but it certainly is in keeping with the general theme of DA. These are both well written stories and the conclusion is very charming. [1]
