Raven/Irene is a femslash pairing of Raven Darkholme (Mystique) and Irene Adler (Destiny) in the X-Men fandom.

X-Men Comics

Irene and Mystique met at the beginning of the 20th century, when Mystique was living as a man. The two quickly became friends and later lovers. Though the Comics Code Authority originally prevented the writers from having openly gay or bisexual characters, it was confirmed years later that they were indeed a couple. Destiny later encouraged Mystique to adopt a girl named Anna Marie- the girl that would later grow to be Rogue. Though they were a close-knit family for nearly a decade, Destiny aged like a normal human while Mystique remained youthful thanks to her powers. Destiny was later killed in battle, causing Mystique to swear vengeance on her killer and later take time off for herself to mourn.

X-Men: Evolution

Irene and Mystique are close friends in the series, with Irene also being the a foster parent to Rogue, however, she was not a member of the Brotherhood. Irene foresees Rogue manifesting her powers which warns Mystique about the consequences that comes after. Her visions also showed her that Rogue and Mystique would soon play major roles in defeating Apocalypse. After some seasons, this vision was brought to reality as Mystique became Apocalypse's horseman and Rogue used her powers to absorb Leech's and turn off Apocalypse's machinery to stop him from his plan.
