Rauru's Return is a Legend of Zelda fansite. Although still online as of 2018, most of the content is from 2008 and earlier. The site was named after Rauru, a character from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Time who helped guide Link (and thus the player) through the early plot of the game.
The original goal of Rauru’s Return was to put the fan at the center of its running operations. However, over time and with the introduction of sites like Deviantart and the raise of Fanfiction.net the fanworks side of Rauru’s Return fell to the wayside to make room for constant news updates and guides and walkthroughs for all of the Zelda games alongside with gathering as much media as possible.
