Quincey Harker is a character from Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, the son of Mina and Jonathan Harker.

Canon

Quincey Harker is mentioned in the epilogue of Dracula. He's said to be named after Quincey Morris, and is implied to also be named after other characters of the novel.

Fandom

The fandom generally imagines Quincey as a good, well-adjusted person with a happy childhood, beloved by his parents and their friends. Angstier scenarios usually revolve around his parents' trauma in relation with his upbringing, or around the possibility of Quincey participating in WWI, though having him die there is frowned upon, at least in the Dracula Daily fandom. Another trope is Quincey learning about his parents' experiences or/and his namesake.

There is a tendency in Dracula sequel books and some Dracula scholarship to interpret Quincey as Dracula's son, or at least influenced by Dracula's blood in Mina, which usually gives him some vampire powers. This tendency is heavily criticized by the Dracula fandom, and some of the Quincey-centric fanworks were created specifically as a refutation of this trope.
