Descriptions
From an ad in issue 7/8 of The Observer:
A British letterzine in the tradition of The Imaging Chamber. This modest (26 pages in its first issue), but nicely laid out little zine has fan art (by kids and adults), letters, fan cartoons, and news on UK and American development in the world of QL. Future plans include quizzes and so on. Editorship is apparently round-robin style by a "creative committee.
From a 1996 flyer:
Want to argue about (or apologise for) Al, sympathise with Sam, dump on Donna, trash Tina (yeah!), or even get zealous about Ziggy (give us a break, there aren't that many verbs starting with a "z")? Then why not join hundreds of other Leapers throughout the world and subscribe to Quantum Quest?
We put out an issue of approximately 28 pages every quarter, featuring news, readers' letters, episode write-ups, movie and zine reviews, feature articles, convention reports, the occasional yummola photo ... and lots more.
From an undated flyer:
Because of the cost factor, issue length is a major consideration -- so please try to keep your letters reasonably short and to the point -- about one A4 page is the maximum. We hope to run to lots and lots of issues, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to waffle to your heart's content! If you've got a lot to say on a particular subject, how about turning it into an article instead? ... [snipped] ... Please -- no bitching, sniping, name-calling, or hair-pulling. We hate fannish feuds. Although we welcome lively debate, we try to avoid contentious or aggressive statements, and, with this in mind, reserve the right to edit LOCs and articles.
