Profit is a 1996 television series starring Adrian Pasdar as amoral businessman Jim Profit. It originally aired on Fox but was cancelled after only four episodes, despite positive critical reception. The four remaining episodes were eventually aired on the TV network Trio in 2002 and the complete series was released on DVD in 2005.
Fandom
Profit has a small fandom. As of 2018, there are 29 Profit fanworks at Archive of Our Own and three Profit stories posted at FanFiction.Net (two of which are in Spanish). It was a Yuletide fandom in 2007 and 2009.
There is a Profit community at LiveJournal, boxofwrong, founded in March 2007 and active until 2010.
Fanfiction for the series sometimes crosses over with Heroes, in which Adrian Pasdar stars as Nathan Petrelli.
