A Power Couple is a romantic relationship involving two people who are independently influential, successful, talented, or formidable. The term can be applied to real-life couples and occurs as a trope in both canon and fanon.
Sometimes the term 'power couple', or Ultimate Power Couple, will be used more generically as an affectionate term for a fans' favourite ship.
