Pooh’s Adventures Of Façade is a five-part fan fiction written by Psyga315. It was published onto Fanfiction.net on December 11th, 2012 and eventually concluded on September 15th, 2013.

Plot

The story begins when Pooh receives a letter from Christopher Robin, who says the letter was from Trip, who mistook him for Adam Sanders, the person whose house Pooh lives in. Trip wants to invite Pooh over to his house, to which Pooh delightfully decides to go, asking Christopher Robin to bring in everyone. And the journey begins.

However, after some shenanigans at Sodor, the hundreds of friends dwindled down to twenty. The number further dwindled when cops arrested Mickey Mouse and Ronald McDonald. Kirby swallowed Pumbaa in an attempt to stop him from farting. The group enters the apartment through Simba’s brute force and are soon introduced to Trip and his wife Grace.

Eventually, they come to learn that Trip and Grace live a troubled relationship and that they needed to patch things up. Though after Trip annoys Twilight Sparkle for the last time, she yells at Trip, causing Kirby to fart. This led to a chain of events, from Trip throwing Kirby out the window to him kicking out Timon to inevitably murdering Simba. This caused Buzz Lightyear to arrest Trip for regicide, though he dies finding out that there was no way for them to leave.

Bowser reveals himself and eventually tells them his plan to force the group to bring Trip and Grace together, so that Queen Chrysalis can absorb their love. After killing Tigger though, Bowser and Chrysalis begin to argue about their jobs as villains. Eventually, they put their differences aside and head off to take over the world. Twilight refused to let this happen and she ran off to chase the ship, only to realize she’s not an alicorn princess and fall to her death.

While that was going on, Trip had a near death experience thanks to getting bonked on the head by Amy Rose and inadvertently revealed to Grace that he lived on the streets and that is why he was obsessed with money. Grace reveals her painting to him and the two unite as a couple, though Trip had heavy regrets regarding the deaths of the other characters and prompts to kill himself by throwing himself off the window. However, Ash uses Charizard to save him. Pooh snaps out of his stunned state from when he saw Tigger get killed to call Ash out for it and try to kill him, only for Amy to knock him out and give him amnesia.

With Grace and Trip back together, the group decides there’d be no further purpose being in the apartment outside of Ash having Pikachu zapping the elevator’s shock button off. Pooh awakes with the amnesia and Christopher Robin prompts that the Adventures he had never happened, and then insisted to the others that he should never go on anymore adventures.

Meanwhile, Ronald McDonald and Mickey Mouse bust out of jail after the latter beats up Batman with a Keyblade, and Ronald’s cousin, Donald McDonald crashes the Omega Doomship into the sun, taking Bowser and Chrysalis with him. From there, the story ends.

Trivia

  • This story is non-canonical to the Pooh’s Adventures universe, as the constant deaths of almost a hundred characters, including Bowser himself, seem to prove. It also isn’t canonical due to the ending.
  • Although this story is a parody of Pooh’s Adventures, it tends to parody other stuff… perhaps more than it parodies Pooh’s Adventures itself.
  • Although they didn’t partake in the Adventure, several characters were name dropped, showing that they were going to be part of it had it not been for the incidents at Sodor. These people are:
    • Aladar
    • Godzilla
    • Huckle and Lowly
    • The Wonderpets
    • Garfield
    • The Jungle Cubs
  • Interestingly, the poster shows Aladar, Turtle Tuck and Mickey Mouse in the apartment, despite them not being there for various reasons, as well as two characters who never appear in the story: Princess Cadance and Alex.
  • Kirby unlocks a new power in this Adventure: Waft Kirby, which enables him to use the power of farts.
  • According to the author’s note, it seemed that Bowser wasn’t going to be included in the story, or at the very least be a one-off joke.
  • In an interesting turn of events, Bowser and Chrysalis manage to become mirrors of Trip and Grace, as both couples manage to bicker with each other throughout their time in the apartment. It even goes as far as Bowser taking a page from Trip’s book and asking Pooh a yes or no question that results in him storming off to the kitchen.

Pooh's Adventures Tropes That Were Parodied

  • The sheer number of Pooh’s Friends. It started off with a hundred, but it had to dwindle down to its final number: 8.
  • Size limitations, causing a chunk of Pooh’s friends to skip the ride on Thomas. It can also be seen in the poster with Aladar peaking in through the window, perhaps accurately showing his estimated size.
  • Chase scenes. Another chunk of Pooh’s friends were crushed by so many people running into Thomas’ cabooses.
  • Pumbaa’s involvement in the story and his inability to preform well in crowds caused a chunk of characters to die and eventually forced Kirby’s hand in swallowing him.
  • Famous people being noticed. This led to Ronald McDonald and Mickey Mouse getting arrested out of fear that they may be out to kidnap children.
  • The long introduction sequence.
  • Railroading.
  • Noticing the animals that Pooh assoiciates with would be dangerous to humans, such as lions, which explains Trip’s resentment towards Simba.
  • Bowser’s scheme of the week boiling down to “team up with a villain and hope for the best”. Rabbit guessed this was what Bowser’s plan was, but he was proven wrong.
  • Ash not using his Pokemon to help in situations, which led to Pooh calling Ash out and nearly killing him had it not been for Amy knocking him out.
