A podvid is a podfic illustrated with a video component. The audio track is a recording of a fan reading a fic, and may include music, but unlike vids, that element is not necessary.
Very few podvids currently exist.
Cupidsbow first coined the term podvid to describe her multimedia presentation of Keylines, which she described as a cross between a songvid and a podfic.[1]
