All of today’s recs are by ariadnes_string. She’s got more H50 fic that I have read but these were my favourites. I’m still having to be careful about what H50 fic I read because I am only just halfway through the 2nd season so nothing too recent will be listed here. [...] For my last rec, and for another good gen rec, Phantageusia. It’s a PTSD fic for Steve and contains some angsty!Steve and comforting!Danno. I like this fic because I love h/c and angst and Steve is a great target for it. I also like that the PTSD is well dealt with and that Steve does actually deal with it in a manner somewhat approaching realism. Well, eventually. Avoidance of personal problems is so typical for military personnel and I just love that Danny calls him on his shit and tries to be as supportive as possible. Their relationship is so good here, and I feel like I just have to mention the characterisation again because it’s so spot on.
