Reactions and Reviews

1993

Delightful. At risk of giving away the plot I can only say this story deals with how easily one can become addicted to computer games -- the possible results of such an addiction - and the side effects it can have on marriage. Especially when a involves a Vulcan and a certain starship captain. It's a story that doesn't take itself too seriously and for me at least, was just the thing to cheer me up over a cup of morning coffee. [1]

1994

The dangers of giving an obsessive personality a computer game; they both get hooked -- on different games. [2]

2021

3.5/5. I didn't really like this one. I have no idea how accurate the addiction and withdrawal are, but they didn't feel quite right. Maybe this just wasn't for me.[3]
