Skinner finds himself on unfamiliar territory and calls the only person who could possibly understand: Scully. This is a moody character study, looking at the strangely formal yet oddly intimate relationship between Scully and Skinner. The writing is sharp and spare, the imagery effective and illuminating. Highly recommended. [1]
Vivian has come up with another Skinner gem. The Skinner and Scully characterizations are spot and and the writing is terrific. [2]
