Over the Edge is a gen Miami Vice novel written by Alexandra Eibeck that was a sequel to In The Purgatory. It was originally written in German with the goal of translating it into English. It also goes by the name MV 2: "Over the edge".
Publisher's summary: A meeting of the bigest druglords in Florida. The Vera Fortuna explodes. Sonny Crockett and Joanne Tyler are missing in action, presumed dead. Then the rumours start,a certain Sonny T. Burnett seems not so dead as everyone thought... The Burnett-Trilogy, this time a little bit different."
