Opulence is a zine featuring members of BTS in opulent and luxurious settings. The zine focused on themes of luxury, hedonism, and indulgence.

About

The project was teased in late August 2021. Interest checks began on September 15, 2021. Applications for mod interns were accepted from October 31 to November 15, 2021. Contributor applications opened on November 5, 2021. The deadline extended by a week.

Preorders opened on July 2, 2022, with the following pricing tiers:

• Wealth ($18) - Prints, Die-cut Stickers, Shaker Charm, Enamel Pin

• Luxe ($30) - Physical Zine, Digital Zine, Prints, Die-cut Stickers, Shaker Charm, Enamel Pin

Preorders closed on August 12, 2022. Digital copies continued to be available during the production period.

Physical orders began shipping approximately after December 10, 2022, when organizers sent out emails to confirm shipping addresses. Some physical orders were delayed due to manufacturing issues with the shaker charms. Digital zines were sent out on December 20, 2022. Physical copies notably had missing pages in printing, so physical orders also included single leaf pages to insert into the book where they were originally supposed to be.

Leftover sales began on February 1, 2023. Two leftover full bundles were also available for order but only through direct message with the zine account. The project's storefront closed on March 17, 2023. The project was declared complete on April 8, 2023, and a digital copy of the zine was made freely accessible on itch.io.
