Itzcoatl aka. ObsidianSerpent it's a well-known fanartist in Merlin fandom, especially with your digital arts or acrylic paintings for the Arthur/Merlin pairing. Her journal was closed to friends and purged around 2012/2013, with the art currently only being found on her DeviantArt profile.
In Nahuatl, her user name Itzcoatl means Obsidian Serpent and was the name of the fourth king of Tenochtitlan, and the founder of the Aztec Empire, ruler from 1427 to 1440.[1]
She participated in the Paperlegends 2010 Big Bang challenge where she contributed illustrations for the stories Light of Arthur, This Dark Road Will Lead Us Where We Want to Be and a story that wasn't finished in time for the Big Bang.
Her fanart Execution won the Merlin Slash Awards 2010 in the categories Best Dramatic Situation (Fanart: Arthur/Merlin) and Best Portrait (Fanart: Arthur/Merlin).
Itzcoatl contributed two images to the Merlin Zodiac Project, Cenred as Virgo and Anhora as Pisces.

You are my hero. I probably knew your art since i started watching Merlin. You have SUCH a talent. An enormous talent that i just adore. I love your merthur art so much. Your expression, colour and aura. Just...wow. I just can’t express how much i love your art. All of your merthur fan art are my favourites. I cannot for the life of me pick the best one. I really don’t know what to say, I love your art. The emotions and the feeling of the art is so brilliant. The mood is portrayed so well. I know what i should be feeling when i look at the painting.
