Reactions and Reviews
This story didn't work for me, and I can't really explain why. The story starts off with Blake berating Avon for having sex with Vila because Blake believes Avon is taking advantage of him. There is a lot of talk about how Avon is really straight despite his sexual activities which is something that does happen. Straight men can willingly engage in and enjoy male sodomy and still be straight, so I did not have trouble with that concept in the story.[1]
OK, so on this previous reviewer and I do agree - this story is weird and I don't like it (sorry). Blake comes to tell Avon off for not letting Vila bum him. To teach Avon a lesson and ease him into it, Blake kindly offers to bum Avon. In the process, Avon learns he is in love with Blake, although he can never tell him. I just hate this overbearing, patronising and hypocritical Blake. Why is it his business what sexual positions Avon engages in with the crew? Vila is actually quite happy, and it's not as if Blake is willing to bottom for Avon (one assumes). I don't understand this fic at all.[2]
