I just finished reading Now you feel like number none it's really good piece of fanfiction/quest.

It deals with the story of Nemo a numerous as she survives and climbs ever higher. Tought it's no power wank story the gap between numerous and Espada is wast and by the end of this semi completed work she barely is Espada lvl while her opponents are the likes of Sad Bat aka the jerk that thinks he has no emotion...

Author pulls off exelent narrative of growth and eventually brewing rebelion against a man that could as well be God. With exelent fight scenes that author said was their main intrest but... He wanted the scenes to have meaning so he put in an ungodly amount of charecterisation just so he can actually make the combat mean somthing. Result is best battle scenes I had ever read. [2]

Probably the best Bleach fanwork on the internet, by a huge margin. The player character was the last arrancar created before Aizen returned with the completed Hokyoku and instituted the new generation. Really calls back to early Bleach's horror themes, plays fast and loose with canon, discarding the bits that don't make sense.

The protagonist is adorable as well, with aesthetics similar to Hollow Knight. Extremely active fan community, with some fabulous artwork/sidestories produced. I've done some artwork for it as well.[3]

A quite renown Bleach fanfic on this site and one that needs no real introduction, but still one that I felt deserved a spot on the list. This quest has earned and still has the undisputed #1 spot in my heart, and it won User's Choice for a reason. It's about an obsolete Arrancar member of Aizen's Army who's missing a large chunk of their past as well as their voice, trying to survive in the harsh social ecosystem of Hueco Mundo and the barren sands of Las Noches after being made obsolete by newer, better Hogyouku-assisted arrancarization techniques, and her and many others' journey to reconnecting with their humanity. Many side characters with little to work off of are fleshed out and often given satisfying arcs, and LGBT characters abound. The protagonist is a lesbian OC who's romance with the (one of? This story likes to play with protagonist sorting) deutaragonist plays a big part in both of their character arcs and how they come to interact with the world around them. The same is true for other vital and side characters, with a good amount of gay, lesbian, and bi representation that also has cases of contributing to character arcs. Helps that it's a great alternate story too, seeing how the power of teamwork and brutality prevail when all else fails.[4]

Set in bleach, follow the trials and tribulations of Nemo Elcorbuzier. An old style low ranked arrancar as she struggles to survive. Eventually the PC's level up to the point where their motives move towards loftier goals than mere survival and Nemo ends up with a girlfriend. I'm not really doing it justice, but the characters are really well done, and the relationship is really really adorable. It's also noteworthy in that the Nemo mostly supports and follows her girlfriends lead, rather than the love interest just being there to support the pc.[5]

Notes

  1. ^ This is a post written by QM Omicron, the "by Brandon Sanderson" is a joke about the length, depth, and/or complexity of the magic system and lore the quest has developed.
