Nova Science Fiction & Star Trek Convention was held as a homecoming event at the University of Miami.

There were at least two.

Admission was free, but fans were required to pay $1 a day to view the films.

Dealers had to pay $10 for a table.

These are not same cons Miami Star Trek Convention (1972, 1973, 1974, 1975), also chaired by James Van Hise.

There were over 700 attendees.
