Not S&P Approved is a meme that expanded from the Gravity Falls fandom. It was started when Alex Hirsch released a video for the 10th anniversary of the TV show's premier date compiling some of the lines that Disney's S&P division took issue with, and Hirsch's defense of them.[1]

The video went viral across multiple social media platforms, inspired discussion about S&P censorship, and also spawned a lot of memes on the phrase "not S&P approved", both within Gravity Falls fandom and fandom more broadly.
