Reactions/Reviews
Overall impression: A good idea behind the vid and the song gave it a strong sense of urgency but the colouring effect is jarring.
Titles: The titles are simple gold lettering.
Music choice: The song reeks of frustration and anger, rather appropriate for a teen in a difficult position like Harry.
Narration, Tone and Movement: The narration of Harry's trials and his efforts with and against the adults (both allies and enemies) was well-done.
Cuts, Transitions, Effects & Colouring/Coloring: Acid green and bright orange don't mix. I wish the vidder had made the orange a softer light as that would have contrasted with the dark green. The transition between scenes, movies, and Harry's age in each movie was almost seamlessly done. Beautiful parallels between what Harry has to face each school year.
Specific vid & music notes: The scene cuts from 1:50 to almost 2:00 were quick, succinct and to the point.
Final notes: Good vid and I'm surprised it wasn't made this way by other vidders. My only complaint is that it seemed to lag toward the end.
