North of Shangri-La was a Beauty and the Beast (TV) fan club run by Ursula Boyle and Elgie Ginsburgh.
This club had a newsletter that was published 6-8 times a year. It was titled Notes & News from Above.

Friendship, zine buying/trading (3 zine publishers in group), discussions of ideas (meetings usually have a theme).
[Our members come from] mainly Massachusetts; also Rhode Island and New Hampshire members.
We have several needlework experts people in our groupteaching others.
Goals: Keep the dream alive, share news, show support for movie, merchandise, try to recruit new
members, and write letters.[1]
