Nodame Cantabile is a Josei manga about classical musicians. Megumi "Nodame" Noda is an odd, but extremely talented, pianist. Shinichi Chiaki is a pianist who longs to be a conductor, but is limited in his options due to his fear of flying. Through their relationship, Nodame and Chiaki grow both as musicians and people.
Nodame Cantabile has been adapted into a J-Drama and an anime.
