Nico Minoru also known as Sister Grimm is a Marvel Comics character for the Runaways series.
Canon
Nico is the de facto leader of the Runaways. She is a sorceress by blood and possesses the Staff of One, a mystical staff which only allows her to cast any particular spell once.
Fandom
Nico is one of the most popular characters in the Runaways fandom, having much of the fanworks dedicated to her. After Runaways was put on hiatus in 2009 she was one of the few members to be used in other books such as Avengers Arena and A-Force.

Discussion & Controversies
- Avengers Arena: Nico's involvement in Avengers Arena was greatly disliked by fans.[1] Being the first major book she appeared in after Runaways was put on hiatus in 2009, some were simply glad that she was still being used as a character, however others had problems with the darker Battle Royale theme of Avengers Arena.
- Witch Arm: After losing her arm in Avengers Arena, Nico was given a "Witch Arm" that was similar to a robotic one but was also linked to her magic. Given how disliked the events of Avengers Arena are for some Runaways fans Nico's new arm was met with similair feelings. Many were pleased that Runaways 2017 revival did away with it.
