New Beginnings is a gen Star Trek: TOS anthology by Trinette Kern and Carol Mularski.
It is the zine that Kern created after she issued a personal statement in Scuttlebutt #2 that she would no longer be associated with Off the Beaten Trek. "Promised novels and series from my former publication will continue in this future zine, hopefully coming out in late August of this year [1977]. Authors and artists who have sent material to me will have the opportunity to go with either the former publication, or with 'New Beginnings,' but they should let me know which, at once."
Issue 1
New Beginnings 1 was published in 1986 and contains 70 pages. It is printed on only one side.
Issue 2
New Beginnings 2 was published in 1986 and contains 61 pages.
