Bodie lies dying (sorry), thinking back over his relationship with Doyle. It is not so much the author’s words that moved me, though they have their own beauty, but the face of grey reality that she manages to convey. This is one of the saddest fics I’ve read, so be prepared for tears, especially over the last line...[1]
Most definitely the saddest fic I have read since I started this: Never Say Goodbye by Castalia, just posted by Proslib. Its on Circuit too. Beautifully, beautifully written. And there are alot of heart-wrenching fics out there - see recent Safehouse, for example!*pause to Circuit*

I'll definitely second you on the rec for Never Say Goodbye. I devoured it as soon as it showed up in my mailbox this morning. I felt like I'd been gut-punched at the end, but in a good way, if you know what I mean. But, lord, I think I'm in need of some happy stuff right about now. Maybe I'll give Night Talk a go. Or go write some happy smut.[3]
