>Maybe it's just me, but I don't think that a mailing list is the place to hold a conversation, let alone a one-on-one argument. I know that I'm not the boss of >anyone, but let's not forget that everyone else on the mailing list gets your messages along with the person that you are talking to. I don't know about anyone else, >but I find it annoying when I have to read through and delete double-digits of messages that mean nothing. Sorry if I sound like I'm bitching someone out.

Well, the list has been real quiet before that, and I found the argument to be really interesting. I say, keep up the arguing!

P.S. I'm still confused. I was really under the impression that Mike had joined the show when they moved to the Comedy Channel. Hey, I know. I'll look in the credits of the KTMA shows! I'll report back...

> While reading this review, I could not help but think that this movie might be perfect for MST3K. Then again, there are some movies that even MST3K can't rescue. http://www.pajiba.com/film_reviews/goats-review-the-cinematic-equivalent-of-kristen-stewarts-face.php

Funny review, Brandon, thanks for sharing it with the group. Maybe the guys at Rifftrax couldn't do anything with this, but I'd sure like to see them try.

>I keep learning new things about MST3K. Today it involves Star Wars: Rebel Assault II, a DOS game from 1995. If you don't like the default cut scenes, hit ALT-V and >it will ask you for an access code. Type in OVRES (Servo spelled backwards) you'll get put into Theater Mode in which you'll see the silhouettes of Yoda, Vader, and >R2D2 and the vocals of the cut scenes will be turned off and text will be displayed on the screen with silly comments. They seem to be rather focused on the subject >of boots for some reason.

Yep, that was my first exposure to MST3K. My brother and I found it when he first bought the game and I thought it was the best thing ever, had no idea it was based on a TV show.

> Had to come back and check out the old group. Just wanted to keep it alive a bit longer. I had some good times here.

And you are right to do that. The MST3K revival on Netflix has been fun. Different from the old show, for sure. But keeping the spirit and the jokes alive. And they finally riffed on one of my all-time favorites, 'Reptilicus.'
