Morwen was the wife of Húrin and mother of Túrin, Urwen and Nienor. After her husband was captured in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, she sent her son Túrin to be raised in Doriath, but remained in Dor-lómin herself to wait for her husband and protect their people.
