The Morse Code was a international fan club for actor Barry Morse that was created and organized by Vivian Stanley.
The group published a quarterly newsletter of the same name, also entitled Morse Code and was in existence from 1977 to 1997. Later in the club's history, the newsletter was printed and distributed on a periodic basis.
The group was officially authorized and sanctioned by Morse.
The newsletter covered all aspects of Morse's career including television, film, stage, and radio productions. It carried information about his work, personal appearances, and often included news clippings from newspapers and magazines.
Morse himself would occasionally write letters detailing his current and future projects which were reproduced in the periodical.
Stanley's initial letter concerning the formation of the club appeared in ComLoC:
Stanley, also editor of the newsletter, was based in various locales in Saskatchewan and Alberta, Canada during her tenure as President of the club.
