Reactions and Reviews
Great pacing, a good meaty case, sentinel and guide threatened and an old enemy resurfacing. What more could you ask?Blair has been coerced into chaperoning a local anthropology field trip. He wakes to a wintry morning but soon finds more to worry about than staying warm – he discovers three of the students have been murdered and the men who did it are coming after him. Thus begins a day filled with terror and mystery that envelops Jim, Blair and those closest to them.
Crowswork wrote this in the style of “24”, so the action clips right along. The reveal of who’s behind the convoluted series of crimes is satisfying, as is the resolution. “Momma Said” is the most recent offering of this talented writer.
