MizuumiCon is a one-day (usually) anime convention held in San Antonio, Texas.
It is currently run by Area Anime Conventions Inc. (AAC), a nonprofit aiming to promote Japanese culture.
History
The con first took place on March 21st of 2009 as a charity event to raise money for Our Lady Of The Lake University, and was run by Mizuumi Anime Club & San Japan.[1]
Reported attendance at 2013's MizuumiCon 6 was over 2,000 people.[2]
In 2016 MizuumiCon 9: The Final Chapter took place over two days: April 2 and 3.[3] Afterwards, no MizuumiCon took place in 2017 or 2018, but it returned in 2019.
