Mithrin is a series of nine oneshots written by Geale. The pairing is Aragorn/Legolas and the series has an overall wordcount of 40000.
The series covers five years - from TA 2946 to TA 2951. It starts with Aragorn's and Legolas' first meeting when Aragorn is fifteen and ends with Aragorn learning of his true identity when he turns twenty.
What sets this series apart is not only the evocative language, but also the deployment of a second-person narrative. The stories are told by Legolas in first person. At the same time, Legolas is refering to Aragorn as you - this narrative mode is quite rare and makes for a fascinating read.
