Mitch Pileggi Pheromone Brigade was a mailing list with heavy traffic. It was a loosely-formed group whose fans shared one thing in common: a fascination with Mitch Pileggi and the character of Walter Skinner.
The mailing list was created in March 1995 or before, as "MPPB" shows up in terminology lists at that time.
A related list was Mitch Pileggi Estrogen Brigade.
The Pheromone Connection
All Mitch Pileggi fans were welcome to join without gender bias.
I hate talking about secretions! Anyway, Annie B is right of course, it's "pheromone" which is a hormone secreted (eeeeew!) by an animal to attract members of the same species (nothing about same or different sex, the mppb is for...you know...ANYbody who is attracted by MP's pheromones!). The MPEB is the estrogen brigade which is for ladies (term used loosely!). But the MPPB isn't fussy, we'll take in anybody who drools over Mitch Pileggi/Walter Sergei Skinner. -- m.p. [1]
