Maryland Association of Star Trek was a Star Trek: TOS fan club based in Silver Spring, MD.
It was also known as "Metropolitan Area Star Trekkers" and "Metropolitan Area Star Trek Club," or morphed from that club in some way. The same with the name "UMAST, or The University of Maryland Star Trek."
In 1976, according to a listing in the Star Trek Lives! program book, it had 55 members and was for fans who were over 18 years of age.
