Message in a Bottle is a fanzine featuring jenachuu's illustrations of the character Kairi.
About
On September 16, 2020, digital online fan artist jenachuu announced she would officially be making a zine featuring Kairi[1]. While zine would be a compilation of earlier illustrations and sketches, some new exclusive pieces would also be included. Previews of these exclusive pieces were posted gradually on the artist's social media accounts up until release. Although the zine was stated to be focused on Kairi, some of the pieces would also featuring her in a relationship with Sora (this pairing is commonly known as SoKai).
Preorders for the zine began from November 19, 2020, to December 15, 2020[2]. The pricing tiers are as follows:
- Digital Copy ($15 USD)
- Physical Copy ($25 USD)
- Princess Bundle ($35 USD) - Physical Copy, Print, Buttons
By January 9, 2021, jenachuu announced that the zine orders were packed and ready to ship[3]. By January 15, 2021, all orders were shipped or emailed out[4]. Extra copies of the zine were put on sale on the artist's online store on January 22, 2021[5].
