May is a Pokémon Trainer and Coordinator from the Pokémon Anime. She was one of Ash Ketchum's traveling companions. She is a fan favorite and the focus of many fanworks. While she does have a counterpart in Pokémon's Gameverse also named May, and a counterpart in Pokéspe named Sapphire Birch, these characters are distinct enough for their own articles.

The Pokemon she is most associated with are Combusken, Beautifly and Skitty.
