Rusalka has been involved in media fandom since the 90s, and has written gen, het and slash fan fiction in many fandoms. She also co-wrote gen Highlander and Hercules: the Legendary Journeys fan fiction with Keith R.A. DeCandido.
Rusalka first became involved in internet fandom through the HIGHLA-L and HLFIC-L mailing lists, where she posted her first fan fiction stories. She was a flag waver for Richie Ryan, and a member of Clan Denial.
During her time in Harry Potter fandom, Rusalka worked as a list elf for the Harry Potter for Grownups mailing list. She also wrote a number of Harry Potter filks.
She is now active in Supernatural fandom, writing fan fiction and acting as co-moderator of the LiveJournal community copsandhunters.
