Mandip Gill is an actress most well known for her role as Yasmin Khan, the Thirteenth Doctor's companion from Doctor Who.

She's known as one of the Captain's of Thasmin, having shown support for it well before it became somewhat canon in Eve of the Daleks.
Her close friendship with Jodie Whittaker is well known in the fandom, as a large proportion of her fans came from her role in Doctor Who.

At London Film and Comic Con Spring 2022, she strongly implied during a panel that she'd read Thasmin fic. Afterwards, she clarified with a group of fans that she had read some, and asked where she could find more. One fan mentioned Ao3, and Mandip was heavily encouraged to apply filters if she did so.
