Man in the Mirror was an Orlando Bloom fanfiction archive with an associated forum. The stories were sorted by author, by rating, by pairing and by other character. As of February 4, 2007 the archive hosted 1737 stories by 699 authors.[2]

On March 8, 2007, the archivist, Una, announced that she was closing the doors on m.i.t.m. for health-related reasons. The site would remain as an archive only and the forum was deleted.

From the history section of the site:

A couple of readers and writers alike have asked me why the archive is called man.in.the.mirror, rather than like the domain bloomingfanfic.net. Well it is really easy. All stories on the site are only imagined mirror images of Orlando Bloom. The fictional Orlando looks like the real actor, perhaps even shares character traits of the real actor, but when it comes down to it, he is only a fantasy image of the real life person, like all real life persons mentioned in the fics.

The site was launched as version 1.0 on 8th April 2002 only a couple of days after ff.net had announced the discontinuation of actor based fics, and serves now as a refuge for all those fans (writers and readers alike) out there who are crazy about Orlando Bloom aka Orli. And the very first that was hosted was McMiffstery's Trains, Planes and Scarves, so in a way it is all her fault <lol>.[3]

The site was linked to from the Eternal archive and it was a member of The Orlando Bloom Webring.
