Margaret J MacRae is a former member of the Organization for Transformative Works Board of Directors. She joined the OTW in 2013 and served on the Strategic Planning Committee. MacRae served as Treasurer of the OTW, from October to December 2015.
MacRae declared her candidacy for the OTW Board in the 2014 board election. However the 2014 election was uncontested and she was appointed to serve on the OTW Board, with no vote taking place.
M.J. MacRae was embroiled in controversy during the 2015 election chats, when it was discovered that she was asking candidates questions using her fannish pseud. MacRae apologised. She first apologised internally to volunteers and then publicly, during the October 30 candidate chat. [1]
MacRae, along with the rest of the 2015 board, resigned from the board effective December 15, 2015.[2]
