Luke Smith is one of the main characters from The Sarah Jane Adventures. He is the son of Sarah Jane herself, having been created by an alien, and is the brother of Sky Smith.
According to Russell T Davies, had the show not prematurely ended due to Elisabeth Sladen's death, Luke would've been revealed to be gay. In the webcast mini episode Farewell, Sarah Jane this fact is confirmed.
