Lovers in a Dangerous Time (also known as the Party Verse) is a series of short stories by toujours_nigel based on Mary Renault's 1953 novel The Charioteer. It is set after the novel, when one of the characters, Alec Deacon moves to London after the death of his lover, Sandy Reid.
The series starts with "Quite a Party", which was written for Yuletide 2011. It was followed by a prequel and sequels. So far, there are four stories in the series.
