Oh no! Everyone on Voyager has lost their sex drive! Except . . . (insert suspenseful music here) . . . Tom Paris. What's a poor flyboy to do?If it's a Robin Lawrie parody, it must be funny. This is a given, right up there with the fact that going over Warp Ten turns you into a newt (you'll get better), and that all Star Trek movies with odd numbers suck. This particular Lawrie story is a gem. From the musings of a desperate Tom Paris, to history's most boring toga party, this will have you laughing loudly enough to wake the cats and alarm the children. Let me clue you all in on something, writing parody is harder than you think, but Robin makes the whole thing seem effortless. Not only that, but the story also goes beyond parody in presenting Janeway with an intriguing dilemma. So read it
once to catch laugh your butt off, and then go back and read it again to catch the more subtle bits. [1]
