Fan Comments
Such an impact this has alone -- an impact that is multiplied tenfold when combined with the written scene. Once more Shelley captures so much with her impeccable musculature and the way she uses shadow and light. Look closely at a puckered nipple, the glistening tip of a human penis. No simple sketch is this. I want to touch. I almost can feel the smooth skin, the lingering moisture. So precious." [1]
Spock carrying Kirk is called "Love Among the Hyacinths," and is in Jenna’s novel Promises to Keep. This was the first time Shelley drew Kirk’s you-know-what. Look closely, it’s peeking (or peaking!) up there. [2]
